These are pictures from our first ever SHINE camping trip that we took in September. We went to Cultus Lake in Canada. We had a great time playing in the water, telling scary stories by the campfire and playing wiffle ball in the dark. The weather was great and the lake not too busy. Tammy considered it a huge success since she only got thrown into the lake once and there was only one sneak attack on Mark (only a little blood) and Brent somehow stayed dry. Tammy also found out that some of these guys (and some girls, too) are actually pretty good cooks—who knew! Did you know that raccoons can open Rubbermaid containers? They love chocolate chip cookies! One early morning the girls' tent mysteriously fell down on them—was it a tent malfunction or some evil plan? Anyway, everyone had a great time. Maybe this could be a yearly event?
